Grass Radar
Effective 9 October 2026
| Information | Where it stays | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Lawn zones (name, area, grass type, sun exposure) | On this device only | Organising your garden |
| Care tasks and schedules (mowing, watering, feeding, aeration, inspections) | On this device only | The care planner |
| Journal entries, notes and photos you attach | On this device only | Your lawn journal |
| Milestones and settings (reminders, preferences) | On this device only | Progress and remembering your choices |
None of this is ever received by the developer. It is not sent to a server, synced to any account or shared with third parties. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Photos are added only through the iOS system photo picker, which gives the app just the photo you select — the app never sees the rest of your library and needs no photo-library permission.
If you switch on care reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No push service, server or third party is involved.
When you export your records, the app hands them to the iOS share sheet and you choose where they go. The app never transmits them on its own.
Grass Radar contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests — it works entirely offline.
Grass Radar is a lawn-care journal and planner for adults. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Because everything stays on your device, you are always in control: edit or delete any entry inside the app, change permissions in iOS Settings, or remove the app to erase all of its data immediately.
